1) DESIGN COMETITION ORGANISED BY SHASTRA KALA VARDHINI’S ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS.(7/2/05-12/2/05)SHASTRA KALA VARDHINI organized their annual design competition for LARSEN FOUNDATION .
The students were asked to design a SMART FLAT. A flat fully equipped with modern facilities.
The Design requirements were as follows-
To design a studio apartment for an art director of an advertising agency .in the metropolitan of the tropical hinterland of our country . To design hi-tech interiors ,owing to the reality that ‘todays luxury is tomorrows necessity’.

Following two groups participated for the competition:

GROUP 1 LF/25 (GFYID) (GUIDE : Ar Sagar Pawar )
NAFIS SHAIKH, NISHA KUMARI ,POONAM OSWAL

GROUP 2 LF/26 (AFYID) (GUIDE : Ar Milind Chitale )
GIRISH TIWARI ,SUMIT SHAH ,MEERAZ SHAIKH
Both the groups were selected in the first round and were selected for the final jury which took place on the 12 t h of February 2005. Both the jurys were very good & group no 1 was awarded 3rd cash prize of Rs 2000/ for the competition .All the rest students received participation certificates.

2) INTER COLLEGIATE TECHNO-CULTURAL MEET “TECHNI-KALLAH 2005” ORGANISED BY NICMAR (NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH.)

6) PERCEPTIONS 05 – AN ANNUAL EVENT
Every year the college exhibits its student’s work and also the prize distribution ceremony is followed by the exhibition.The event was organized for three days from January 18th to January 20th.Preparations for the event started one week in advance .The students of both the years participated very enthusiastically in the event. It was decided to display only the best . Instead of quantitative work only quality work was displayed.

The programme scheduled for the three days was as follows-
